This is a security solution that provides real-time protection against a variety of threats, from viruses to rootkits. It also provides access to a few handy tune-up tools: USB Vaccination, Windows Temp Cleaner, Internet Temp Cleaner, Virtual Keyboard.
Your computer must meet these minimum system requirements to be able to run K7 AntiVirus Plus: 512MB of RAM memory or more, 400MB of hard disk space, working internet connection (to activate and update the application), Windows operating system (XP SP2 or newer).
On the Home part of the interface, you are presented with info on your PC’s protection status, info on when the application was last updated, and info on how many days are left in your subscription. From Home you can easily access the Settings menu, the Reports, the Tools, or the Scan prompt.
Speaking about the Scan prompt, there are various types of scans you can run: Quick Scan, Custom Scan, Complete Scan, Rootkit Scan, Vulnerability Scan, Tracking Cookies, Abnormal Scan. You can run these scans on-demand or you can set up a schedule so they will be run automatically.
K7 AntiVirus Plus has the following functionality to offer: real-time protection against a variety of threats (viruses, spyware, keyloggers, exploits, and more), email protection, instant messengers protection, USB vaccination, device access control, password protect access to the security solution, browser protection, drive-by-download protection, automatic updates, on-demand scans, various types of scans to choose from, remove Windows and internet temporary files, virtual keyboard, reports.
K7 AntiVirus Plus is offered for free for a trial period of 30 days.
